“36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of our alphabet. A project that aims to be a space for creation and typography and its endless graphic possibilities.” - www.36daysoftype.com
Having enjoyed my brief participation in the 2018 36 Days of Type, I decided to have another go, albeit doing something somewhat different this time. Inspired by a range talented people on Instagram doing sports artwork and designs (such as Lee Olsen, Bradley Jack, Enrique Castellano, Jordan FB, and others), I decided to create a series of designs combining the letters of the alphabet with an Aussie sports star who’s name starts with that letter. Whilst I didn’t quite finish the alphabet, it was a fun exercise. I really enjoyed pushing myself to try different styles and seeing how far I could take an idea in the limited time available for each artwork.
I’m here to help, so let’s team up and make something awesome.
